Watermelons v. Radio
Early in life, someone told Mark that he had "a great face for radio!" He still does. He was initially insulted, but eventually figured out that instead of picking watermelons in 100-degree Central Texas heat, he could kick back in an air-conditioned radio station control room playing Slim Whitman to drunken college students. And, for 43 years, no one's been able to peel him off his chair.

A Sound Client Roster
Over his career, Mark has won countless awards for advertising, web audio, and feature film from international, national, regional, and local associations. His clients include M.W. Kellogg, Star Furniture, Lawrence Marshall Chevrolet, Six Flags Corporation, Woodforest National Bank, Lucas Films, Disney Studios, Warner Bros., ExxonMobil Corporation, Shell Oil, Katy Independent School District, Living Proof Ministries, Second Baptist Church, NBC, CBS, ABC and Compaq Computers. Some of these companies, however, are no longer in business.
He's also worked on feature films and television shows such as "Scooby Doo" and Cartoon Networks' "Chowder." He's also been the "audio expert" on a Ghost-hunting show on Court TV. He is credited with the now-famous quote: "Yes, that sounds like a ghost... where are the kolaches?"

Family Picks Mark Over Watermelons
While avoiding that whole watermelon thing, Mark married Pam, his high school sweetheart (SHE picked him). Once her blindness was cured, they had three great daughters and now, a brand new grandson, Eli.
When Mark's not working, he's still a smart-ass. He's dabbled in airplanes and motorcycles and, since the whole S&M leather thing never really worked out, he has found cooking to be more his speed (He's one of those chefs who would never serve anything he wouldn't eat himself — and it shows). He says that he "can't boil water," but we've seen him and ...ah, why lie? He's right. All the knobs must be in the wrong place. How he makes Duck a la Orange, andouille sausage, and jambalaya is beyond us.
